YARN DYEING

Hank Dyeing
The yarn is dipped in to the dye for 48 hours, washed and re dipped. This process is repeated several times. Once the desired colour is achived, the yarn is steamed to fin the dye. It rquires not many chemicals so it is less damaging to the material.

Cone Dyeing
It is a high tempreature, high pressure dyeing method the yarn is trandfered from paper cones to perforatia plasitc cone through which the dye can pass through the cones are mounted on stainless steel carriers which also have perforations to tfacilitate the dyeing process. Yarn dyeing fabric ensures colour fasteness.

SIZING

It is a protective proce off applying a coating to the yarn making it suitable for weaving. It improres fabric quality by adding weight, increasing smoothnes and absorbency of yarn

WEAVING

Two hands, one man, onle goal, Mr. Ganesan satrted off in 1965 weaving two lungies per day to sell them at the end of the week for a livelyhood. Hardwork and determination faverd way to open up a small sall in chennai in 1968. He along with his brothers sourced lungies form their village and bought them to the city. CHanging the varities and design according to the trend, they received support locally. The first order from outside the state came from Bihar and from ther on ther was most shopping them. Today after 3 generation our presence is in five countries and our product range is numurous with quality being the only common denominator all these years.
